Claimed by both IAM in France and RUN DMC in the USA, each sneaker addict keeps a special place in their collection for this model which has crossed eras, cultures and continents. For our favorite artist this silhouette is a blank canvas, a fertile ground for a work of art because it allows us to go very far in creation. Being a big fan of the DC COMICS universe, the idea of ​​creating a series of pairs around the characters of the franchise had been brewing in his mind for a long time. Long before, he made numerous customizations of Stan Smith but it is impossible to remember precisely the first: “ I don't remember it anymore! I've done so many! The one that I consider to be my first work is the Stan “ Cherry Blossoms ”, it was in collaboration with the store CLVII , this theme was a special order because the finish of this Stan was fuchsia pink, the feminine side of the pair inspired me by the flowers of the Japanese cherry tree in spring ".

In addition, limiting the choice of colors made it possible to make a collection that can be worn easily, by creating pairs with fine and very worked details while remaining simple. 

The female characters chosen by the artist such as Catwoman And Harley Quinn are very self-confident, extremely intelligent women with a strong personality, in the eyes of Artwhos what differentiates them is only their ethics. In the same line, the Joker and his atypical laugh, expressed in spite of himself, gives this character a madness that makes him recognizable in all versions, from comics to dedicated films. His laughter brings confusion to his way of communicating with others, and is the source of a deep wound that makes him in some way a victim of society.
